The high cost of low graduation rates to any community is tremendous nevertheless, the effects can have a lasting impact for generations. USAF Foundation is dedicated to changing the outcome all around the world by aiding in the prevention of low graduation rates and providing education enhancement opportunities to the underprivileged. As a nation, we incur hundreds of millions of dollars in lost income each year due to low graduation rates. The lack of resources to those who cannot afford to attend college skyrocket while communities around the world continue to suffer. Education is the fundamental key that will bring about solutions to poverty, crime and joblessness. USAF Foundation will do whatever it takes to give a child and young adult a chance to learn.

In the Middle East and North Africa, there are 13 million children who are not in school because of war and conflict. In the U.S, 59 million primary school children are not in the classroom. 30% of High School Graduates do not attend college. 43% of students who start college will not graduate in 6 years.

Malnutrition and water related illnesses are the leading causes of death in children worldwide. Children who are malnourished are smaller, more likely to get very sick from ordinary infections and their brain development can suffer. By treating childhood malnutrition in the first 1,000 days of a child’s life, is the matter between life or death. USAF Foundation works to provide food, clean water access and shelter options for families in need. Whether it means improving access to clean water, building sanitation facilities, promoting hygiene practices in schools and communities, or restoring access to clean water after a disaster USAF Foundation will respond to the needs of our children and communities. USAF Foundation will also create pathways to careers in community networking, advocacy, and child welfare. USAF Foundation focuses on building a association of community colleges.

The need for humanitarian relief is massive. With the aftermath of a natural disaster, relief to children and their families are crucial. USAF will serve as an aid with resources and volunteers to help provide a level of comfort to those affected by the civil conflicts or unforeseen emergencies.
